Rita was born and raised in King City, is married to Paul Tavernetti, a General Contractor in King City, and is Mother to 16 year old Josh and 12 year old Brooke. Rita keeps busy being involved with her children's education, sports and volunteering her time in the community. Rita has worked for the Monterey County Office of Education for the past 5 years with pre-school children who have severely delayed language and autism.
